Avoid colour change in vegetables due to oxidation:

                 Vegetables like Brinjal, Plantain Stem, Plantain Flower Etc., may oxidise immediately after you cut and lose their original colour. To retain original colour, even after many hours of cutting these vegetables, is to add a teaspoon of turmeric powder or some curd in water, or add small quantity of lemon juice in water, and soak immediately after you cut those vegetables.



Avoid STAIN in utensils:

       Utensils like cooker, tumbler, vessels with more curves have  stains. Add a boil water with a piece of lemon, in the utensils, which have stains because of coffee, tea or any kind of stain. Stains get cleared soon. It also removes a bad odour and gives a pleasant lemon aroma.



Easy way to RIPE FRUITS:
      


       To ripe fruits like mango, lime, banana, custor fruit, tomato, guava, pineapple, papaya, pear etc., easily and naturally, just keep it in, Cereal tin and close it tightly. In that warm itself, it will get ripe soon. Or, apply a pinch of lime (calcium oxide) on the fruit and keep it in air tight container to make ripe soon.
